Our Definition of "Humanware"
Humanware is a framework to produce applications from
human-centered perspectives in which human sensitivities, perceptions,
and intelligence are integrated. Humanware covers devices, systems and
solutions. It also includes ubiquitous systems and sensor networks if
developed based on the above approach.
Domain Target
The goal of all our research projects in the Humanware
domain is "well-being". Well-being in life requires three fundamental
elements: "Peace of mind" means that people can live a safe and peaceful
life; "Empathy" means that people can feel compassion for others' feelings;
and "Motivation" means that people can live a life full of vitality.
