Our Research Domain Objectives
In Human Life Research Domain, we are investigating the research on
human mind and body, in order to enhance the well-being of humans and to
seek greater lifestyle values for the future.
Through deep understanding of humans and societies, we are aiming to acquire knowledge and methodologies that will contribute to applied research such as humanware research.

Research Networks
In the process of our human life research, we are performing
collaborative research interdisciplinarily with researchers in cognitive
science, psychology, brain science, medicine, and health science, as
well as sociology and philosophy.
Our initial step of collaborative research in house includes 1) the development of a reconfigurable human sensing platform to investigate humans' physiological and psychological responses to visual, auditory, and environmental stimuli, and 2) the preliminary study for psychological experiments of human activities.

Our Future Research Goals
By promoting interdisciplinary research projects in human mind and body,
we expect to contribute to enhancing the well-being of humans for the
future in the sense of both mental and physical healthcare. It is also
our objective to acquire scientific evidences of human mind and body for
the future, which may lead to the realization of one of our earlier
research concepts of "mental scale" proposed in our former research
domain of Bioscience.
